1970s hit-makers Showaddywaddy perform a stage show and night of Bubblegum and Cheese classics on the Isle of Wight on 3 September 2011.

In August 2011 we were asked to co-ordinate the “Night Air” entertainment for the annual Bournemouth Air Festival. Bubblegum and Cheese-specific acts included T.Rextasy AND we managed to pack the largest crowd Bournemouth has ever seen onto the beach in front of the stage!!

For the second consecutive year we took over Cowes Marina and hosted 9 action-packed nights of entertainment for one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events. Bubblegum and Cheese-specific acts included Alvin Stardust and Abba Revival the Tribute, amongst numerous other chart-topping bands and headline acts.

Cliff Bennett, front man of Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers lets Alex in on the story behind his version of the Beatles classic hit “Got to Get You into My Life” which reached number 6 in the UK charts in 1966.

“Rockney” duo Chas and Dave performed a night of Bubblegum and Cheese classics on the Isle of Wight as one of the final dates of their farewell tour, 23 April 2011.

We set about looking for “a thousand Freddie’s” to fill the Cowes Yacht Haven Events Centre on 30 April 2011. The evening was a roaring success and was headlined by internationally renowned Queen Tribute band “The Bohemians.”

In recent years the Bubblegum and Cheese Roadshow has bought chart-toppers such as The Wurzels, The Glitter Band, Hello, Matchbox Chas and Dave, Brotherhood of Man, Mungo Jerry, The Foundations and Alvin Stardust to play the main stage at the world famous Isle of Wight Garlic Festival.

Widely recognised as the largest scooter event in the world, the organisers of the Isle of Wight International Scooter Rally 2010 enlisted the Bubblegum and Cheese Roadshow to play to packed audience of more than 6000 scooter enthusiasts from all across the UK, Europe and further afield.
